View500™ Directory
View500 directory and index search server is an Australian owned and developed solution. It has a blue chip customer base in Australia, Singapore and USA in Government, Defence & large corporate organisations. It provides organisations with a fast scalable and flexible identity management infrastructure that is optimised to support very high speed searches on hierarchically structured data. View500 can be deployed into a variety of customer environments including Defence, Government, Commercial and eCommerce environments, delivering real ROI benefits.
The View500 suite consists of a range of Industry specific implementations where its high speed access and integrated search capability deliver world best practice capability for customers . View500 XML Enabled Directory (XED) is also the worlds first commercial release that extends LDAP directory search and update functions to native XML Objects. This means it can be used to support fine grained access control solutions using XML schema such as XACML and SAML, as well as supporting ebXML Registry standards.
PView500 also supports the PKI matching rules, and also supports component matching for the PKI Syntaxes. View500 used in PKI applications will process certificates faster and with less effort compared to competitor directories.
In some customer implementations scalability normally becomes an issue as LDAP directory performance usually suffers as entries increase. Unlike other competitors View500 was however designed to cope with large size organizations business requirements and is scalable to tens of millions of entries in a single directory server.
View500 currently runs on Microsoft Windows (2000, 2003, 2007, Linux & Solaris (up to v10).
View500 Identity Suite has been developed strictly adhering to open standards and it features support for the X.500, LDAP, XED (XML enabled Directory) and ACP133/ACP 145 Standards.
The current version for View500 is version 6.0 which was issued in mid 2006. The next release version 7.0 is expected to be released in the fourth quarter 2008. This will be a major new version release complete with both new Administrative User clients, better access tools, more support for emerging standards and a set of new features requested by key customers
